Global Fund Advocates Network (GFAN) and STOPAIDS are inviting applications for Global North civil society representatives to the Pandemic Fund Governance Board. There are 2 roles available – Global North CSO Board Member and Alternate Board Member.

The Pandemic Fund, hosted by the World Bank, has been established to provide a dedicated stream of additional, long-term financing to strengthen pandemic prevention, preparedness, and response capabilities and address critical gaps in low- and middle-income countries through investments and technical support at the national, regional, and global levels. More information can be found here

Our organisations were part of the group that led the interim selection process in August 2022 and supported the interim representatives in these first months of the Pandemic Fund. We are convening these processes  as no individuals employed by our organisations will be applying for the permanent representatives positions. We will convene two separate selection panels to identify the new Board members – one for global north Board Members and one for global south Board members. The members of the 2 selection panels will be a mix of civil society and community representatives, be diverse geographically and have gender balance. They will all be familiar with the work of the Pandemic Fund, as well as broader pandemic preparedness and response. The co-ordinating organisations will ensure there are no conflicts of interest of the selection panel members by ensuring that no one from any of their organisations is applying and that the panel members declare any work connections to applying individuals in the selection process.

Please note: The nomination process to identify Global South CSO Board Member and Alternate Board Member (coordinated by WACI Health & EANNASO) has now closed. This call is only open to Global North CSOs
